Sarcodiotheca gaudichaudii (Montagne) P.W.Gabrielson, 1982

Common known as the Succulent Seaweed or, Red String Seaweed (In honor of World Oceans Day, June 8, 2022). Sarcodiotheca gaudichaudii is bright red in colour; grows bushy and has a disc-shaped holdfast and a warty texture. Grows on rock and other hard substrates, small stones and shells.
