Husbandry

McMurrich, 1901

Very special thanks for the first two photos of Halcurias carlgreni to Ronald DeCloux!

As Halcurias anemones are azooxanthellate, they do require regular feeding every day!

This beautiful deep water anemone from Japan. Halcurias anemones come from cooler waters so they require much cooler temperatures than any conventional reef tank, preferably between 66F and max. 72F

Classification: Biota > Animalia (Kingdom) > Cnidaria (Phylum) > Anthozoa (Class) > Hexacorallia (Subclass) > Actiniaria (Order) > Endocoelantheae (Suborder) > Halcuriidae (Family) > Halcurias (Genus) > Halcurias carlgreni (Species)
