This coldwater sea slug was found in Antarctic and adjacent waters in dephts of 18 - 700 m.The body colour can be a milky-white,translucent white, yellow or orange.
Tritoniella belli usually feeds on Clavularia frankliniana, but it is thought that this sea slug also sometimes feeding on hydrozoa, sea anemones and on the soft coral Ascolepis sp.
