Sea shells genus Cyphoma are predator and feeds on gorgonians.Egg shells (Ovulidae) have a highly polished shell.The mantle, which may cover the shell, is totally different in colour and pattern.Egg shells are very well camouflaged on their gorgonian prey.
The grey spotted Cyphoma feeds on Whip Gorgonians.
