Pinjalo lewisi Randall, Allen & Anderson, 1987

Pinjalo is a genus of snappers native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean,with these currently recognized species. Die Gattung beinhaltet nur zwei Arten und wenige Unterarten.

Pinjalo lewisi often form schools, inhabit reefs and rocky bottoms. They feed on benthic and planktonic invertebrates and possibly small fishes. Marketed fresh or dried-salted.
