Oval body with flared pseudotentacles bearing black and red marks at their base. Body colour grayish white with narrow mid-doral white line and scattered crisscrossing pattern of dark lines with scattered white spots.
Eurylepta californica is a rare species. It is found under rocks in intertidal and shallow subtidal areas, often among coralline algae on rocky shores.
Flatworms genus Eurylepta feed on ascidians.
Similar to Pseudoceros montereyensis; has black spots rather than crisscrossing lines and a black line around its lateral margin.
