Baptodoris mimetica Gosliner, 1991
Ground colour bright yellow, with small opaque white spots scattered over the dorsum. The rhinophores are uniformly brown, and the gills are a translucent white. The mantle is covered in microscopic caryophyllidia.
Similar to Doriopsilla albopunctata (differ by soft fleshy textur), Baptodoris mimetica covered in fine caryophyllidia. Resembles Doriopsilla fulva, but has more compact, upright gills, as well as a pair of oral tentacles.
Feeds on sponges.
