Janthina exigua Lamarck, 1816

Janthina exigua is a species of holoplanktonic sea snail,in the family Janthinidae, the violet snails or purple storm snails.These snails drifting on the surface of the ocean.

Glossy Violet Snail have a thin shell up to 4 cm. Colour is light violet.Its feed upon pelagic hydrozoans.
