Pilumnopeus granulatus Balss, 1933

This crab is commonly known as the Smooth-handet Crab. The carapace is oval, wider than long, sparsly covered with setose ridges. Chelipeds finger tips dark brown. Can be found under stones on sheltered sandy and muddy beaches, rarely in burrows.
