Lepidonotus melanogrammus Haswell, 1883

Lepidonotus is a genus of marine annelids in the family Polynoidae (scale worms). The genus occurs globally and includes 80 species, usually found in shallow waters down to about 80m.

The Dark-marked Scaleworm Lepidonotus melanogrammus is known from Queensland, Australia. Feeds on small invertrebrates.
