Info

The Reticulated Toadfish Sanopus reticulatus leads a mostly hidden life in caves under coral stands in the reef.

The head, body, and fins of the toadfish are dark and covered with a network of bright lines; the caudal fin has ~6 narrow, wavy bright bars.
There are many branching chin barbels around the animal's large mouth.

Based on the toadfish's diet and the fact that there are no known imports: Not an animal for a home aquarium.
