Philiopsis is a genus of often colorful, medium-sized sea slugs.

Philinopsis pusa is a Headshield slug with color broad variation. Lighter individuals are camouflaged on white sand environment in which the animals are typically found. Darker individuals appear conspicuously different from their background.
