Info

Grandidierella japonica belongs to the amphipod family Aoridae and is a eurytopic species that was originally only native to Asian waters.
The species was introduced to Hawaii and European waters through ballast water from ships.
Whether this invasive species has had an impact on native populations of amphipods cannot yet be answered conclusively.

In any case, an additional small protein snack for fish and other marine animals.
