Info
Gorgasia japonica, non colloquial name is known, are found in the Western Pacific from Hachijojima and Hachijokojima (Japan) up to New Zealand in the south-west Pacific. Found on large sandy areas near reefs and found by so-called drop-offs, at depths rarely exceeding 30 m where they wait on drifting plankton from which they mainly live.
