Found above 100 m on sandy gravel bottom. Lives on muddy substrates and observed. Hides in sandy bottoms and sucks up animals with sand and debris into the mouth
Uranoscopus bicinctus is commonly referred to as Marbled stargazer. Difficulty in the aquarium: Not suitable for home aquaria!. A aquarium size of at least 3500 Liter is recommended. Toxicity: Toxic.
