Tozeuma carolinense Kingsley, 1878

Tozeuma carolinense, also known as the arrow shrimp or even seagrass arrow shrimp, can be found in the Gulf of Mexico, mostly in coastal waters with seagrass meadows.

The arrow shrimp has a distinct rostrum, including its length and lack of teeth on the upper margin.

Associated with algae.
