Info

Aegires punctilucens (d'Orbigny, 1837)

Aegires punctilucens is very inconspicuous, brown or white in colour, has many knob-shaped tubercles and tiny iridescent blue spots. The oral tentacles are short and rounded and the rhinophores are smooth.

This sea slug is well camouflaged amongst its food, the calcareous sponge Leucosolenia botryoides.
