Cerithium scabridum Philippi, 1848
The shell is high-spired,brownish with contrasting pattern of white and dark brown mottles, the common size 1,2 -2,0 cm. Egg masses in the form of coiled gelatinous,transparent strings packed with small eggs.Cerithium scabridum lives on sandy and muddy bottom.
