The usually colourfull cerata are arranged in 5 to 7 clusters.Cerata can be 1,2 cm in lenght.When disturbed, the cerata are held erect. G.rachelae can swim to flee.
Very similar is Godiva quadricolor. They differ in colour and in the shape of the radular teeth.
Sea slugs genus Godiva eat other sea slugs, seaslug eggs, cnidarians, bryozoans.
