Sakuraeolis nungunoides Rudman, 1980

The body colour is translucent white.A median orange band is on the head from the rhinophores to the oral tentacles.The long Cerata are translucent,white with an orange band.

Sakuraeolis nungunoides erect their cerata when disturbed and bristles them, quivering and pointing the red colored tips.This looks like a porcupine(in Swahili = Nungunungu).

Sakuraeolis nungunoides feeds exclusively on hydrozoa (Salacia tetracythara and Eudendrium sp.)
