Goniobranchus aureomarginatus (Cheeseman, 1881)

This sea slug is white with a yellow mantle margin.Rhinophores and gills are translucent white with pale white pigments.Goniobranchus aureomarginatus is a nocturnal nudibranch. Its feed exclusively on sponges.

Goniobranchus aureomarginatus is probably endemic in New Zealand.
