Titiscania limacina Bergh, 1890

Titiscania is the type genus and also the only genus in the family Titiscaniidae.

This snail is very slug-like in appearance (lacks a shell) and its easily confused with the nudibranchs.

The body colour is white to yellowish with two rows of white tubercles(glands).This glands exude a thick white secretion when the animal is disturbed.

Titiscania limacina inhabit shallow waters on coral reefs.
