Tonicella lokii R. N. Clark, 1999

Like most chitons in this genus, Tonicella lokii has blue, white, purple or black zig-zaged lines on each of the eight valves. The background colour of the valves is often brown or red, bright blue or yellow to orange. The girdle is hairless and brown to red or pink.

Similar are Tonicella lineata ( is extremely similar) , Tonicella undocaerulea und Mopalia spectabili (having a hairy girdle).
