Chicoreus brevifrons (Lamarck, 1822)

Chicoreus brevifrons lives in sheltered bays and lagoons an mangroves on mud.

This snail feed on mussels and other snails, thats why it livs in the lagoon next to oysters.

The color of the shell is variable.

The photo was taken in the Caribbean sea.
