Husbandry

(Park, 1797)

The yellowstripe monocle bream lives in a depth of 6 to 80 meters, where the fish is looking for its prey, small fish and crustaceans.

Occurs close to reefs. Adults at moderate depths in small, loose groups. Juveniles solitary and in sheltered bays along reef edges with rubble or coarse sand.
